Clever usage of technology - a bar code that vanishes when product is old!

Today´s newsletter from the brand agency Blue Marlin presented this lovely little idea:

"The barcode on Tempix’s intelligent packaging vanishes once the item has reached its sell-by-date, helping to ensure the product is only sold at its best."

So clever!

It´s used by the Swedish super market giant ICA.
